Lunette Cambodia: Where Culinary Craft and Custom Lighting Shine
Lighting is more than functionality—it’s a key ingredient in shaping memorable spaces. That’s why we’re proud to highlight Lunette Cambodia, the newest culinary gem at San Francisco’s Ferry Building, where thoughtful design meets bold flavor.
Created by chef Nite Yun, Lunette offers a fresh, nostalgic take on Cambodian cuisine, featuring beloved dishes like Kuy Teav Phnom Penh and Student Noodles. But just as captivating as the food is the atmosphere—crafted with care and intention.
The space was designed by Studio KDA, with architect Marites Abueg leading the project. Their vision pays homage to 1940s Phnom Penh, complete with mustard-yellow diner chairs, striped awnings, and a striking mural by Cambodian-American artist Nak Bou. At the heart of the ambiance is the custom lighting—a series of red-tinted, lantern-inspired fixtures that bring warmth, vibrancy, and a subtle sense of history to the dining experience.
At Metro Lighting, we’re inspired by spaces like Lunette that use lighting as both a design element and a cultural touchpoint. Whether you’re designing a restaurant, a home, or a hospitality space, we’re here to help you create lighting that tells your story.
