Estimated lead times are based on current production. Our typical lead time for most standard fixtures is 3-4 weeks. Custom or quantity orders may take 8-12 weeks. 

Delivery charges are not included, and our local customers usually prefer to pick up their orders. Of course we are happy to ship via UPS anywhere in the U.S.A. Due to the extra care required in packing, most of our orders require oversize shipping. We will quote shipping per order, but you can estimate that shipping adds an average of 10% to your order.  For larger orders within the Bay Area, we may be able to arrange for delivery service at a lower cost. 

As a business that primarily serves our local community, we have priced our items assuming they will be picked up at our showroom, and we do not offer free shipping. Customers are responsible for shipping on all items. While standard items may be returned, shipping charges are the customer's responsibility and are non-refundable. 

Glass shades can simply be washed with soap and water. DO NOT put lighting glass in the dishwasher.

For routine dusting, we recommend gently wiping down the fixture with a soft lint-free cloth. DO NOT use water or any abrasive cleaners on the fixtures as it will damage the finish. 

Brass, dark brown, and black fixtures are sealed with Johnson's paste wax. Waxed finishes have minimal environmental impact, unlike lacquers, but they require careful handling to avoid scratches. This finish can be refreshed by first cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth, then applying a thin layer of paste wax and buffing with a soft cloth. 

Oil-rubbed bronze fixtures are sealed with tung oil. This finish can be refreshed by first cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth, then applying a new coat of tung oil. 

For nickel and chrome fixtures, we recommend using a product such as Nevr-Dull, which will clean the surface without scratching. 

Light bulbs play a crucial role in setting the tone for a space and people's preferences vary widely. What works best for one household may be too bright or too dim for their neighbor. If you're local, come by our showroom and we'll walk you through our options. We offer a selection of our favorite LED bulbs on our website, but any bulb with a standard medium base will work in our fixtures so you can check out your own local options.

An LED bulb with a color temperature of 2700K offers the same characteristics as incandescent warm white bulb while being more cost efficient, sustainable, and maintaining a cooler surface temperature. Wattage equivalent labeled LED bulbs compare more efficient bulb types to traditional incandescent bulbs. Ie: 8-10 watt LED will be labeled as a 60 watt replacement. 

All of the LED bulbs we sell online are dimmable, and you'll need LED compatible dimmers for them to function properly.
