Architect Mark Quattroucchi designed a gorgeous outdoor dining pavilion with a custom shaped cast concrete tabletop. We mirrored the shape of the table in the suspended "cloud" canopy, from which we hung 17 Mirage shades on metal stems. The shades were in assorted sizes, colors, and shapes to form a lively composition, a metaphor for the celebrations and gatherings that were to occur in the pavilion. We mounted two bright LED strips on the top side of the canopy, reflecting off the beamed ceiling to showcase the structure and provide additional ambient light.
