Above protected open space preserves, this custom-designed residence was completed in 2019 by the recognized husband-and-wife design team, Lisa and Armin Staprans. Ridgeview House was conceived as a harmonious home and sanctuary– magnificent and private yet sunlit with panoramic views. The home’s architectural shapes curve up over the surrounding woods with glimpses of San Francisco Bay and framed views of the impressive mountain ridges for which it is named.

Lisa has a passion for creating interiors that embody what she calls “Soul in Design” and Neurobeauty. If we consume with intent, if we seek ethical and sustainable practices, and if we bring into our homes furnishings that inspire and soothe us, then our homes can truly be transformative in our lives. Throughout her many years as a designer, Lisa has established collaborations with with artisans and vendors such as Metro Lighting who use sustainable manufacturing to create products and furnishings with great beauty and soul. You can read much more about this at www.stapransdesign.com and by listening to Lisa's TED talk about “Soul of Design”.
